Dr. Nirupama Pore is the owner and a General Dentist at College & Ossington Dental Office, bringing more than 15 years of experience in comprehensive, patient-centred dental care.
In 2025, Dr. Pore took over the practice established by Dr. Guadalupe Arrieta in 2001. With Dr. Arrieta continuing to practise alongside the team, Dr. Pore is committed to preserving the warmth, relationships and personal care patients have valued for years while guiding the practice into its next chapter.
Warm, approachable, and known for her gentle touch, Dr. Pore believes that great dentistry begins with making patients feel comfortable, heard, and respected. She takes the time to listen to her patients’ concerns, explain treatment options clearly, and create a relaxed environment where patients can feel confident about their dental care.
Dr. Pore particularly loves working with children and enjoys helping young patients develop a positive relationship with dentistry from an early age. Her patient and reassuring approach makes her especially comfortable caring for children, families, nervous patients, and those who may not have visited a dentist for some time.
Her clinical experience encompasses a wide range of general and family dentistry, including preventive and restorative dentistry, fillings, crowns and bridges, root canal treatment, extractions and emergency dental care. Dr. Pore is also certified in nitrous oxide sedation, allowing her to provide an additional level of comfort for patients who experience dental anxiety.
Her approach to dentistry emphasizes prevention, conservative treatment, and long-term oral health. Rather than focusing only on the immediate problem, she works with her patients to understand their needs and develop practical treatment plans designed to help them maintain healthy, confident smiles for years to come.
Dr. Pore is a member of the Royal College of Dental Surgeons of Ontario, Ontario Dental Association, and Canadian Dental Association, and is committed to continuing education and providing care that reflects current dental techniques and standards.
Outside the dental office, Dr. Pore enjoys spending time with her family and loves to cook. She is particularly well known among family and friends for her butter chicken — and if you ask nicely, she may even share a few cooking tips!
